Mohamed Shokeir
Mohamed Shokeir was a notable Egyptian entrepreneur who was well-established in multiple fields. He started from humble beginnings, but despite that he managed to create a conglomeration of companies that changed the Egyptian Market. Through the creation of Delta Trade Group, he managed to foster a relationship with East Asian markets that helped him introduce numerous textiles to the Egyptian Market. After he oversaw the founding of SAS Egypt, he helped catapult the company into a position of dominance in the Egyptian Retail market. Mr. Shokeir also founded one of the largest Textile factories in Egypt Startex, and created Fibertex (another textile trading company), and ASAS a contracting company. His accomplishments have cemented his name in the Egyptian market. Accomplishments aside, Mohamed Shokeir’s character was loved, for his kind, and gallant character. He mentored many and was regarded fondly for his acts of kindness.
